Access Software price increases, start from 1st March 2024

We are contacting you today to inform you of a change to your software pricing, which will come into effect start from 1st March 2024.

This is aligned to the upcoming increase in Malaysia’s Sales and Services Tax (SST), which will rise from 6% to 8% as of the 1st March 2024. This adjustment will have implications for many businesses, ours included.

Why the increase on software?
On top of the changes to SST, our commitment to deliver high-quality products and service remains the primary factor in this review of our pricing. We remain dedicated to providing you with the level of quality you anticipate and deserve, ensuring that our products maintain their status as market leading. Additionally, we work to continually enhance our product offerings to align with your evolving needs.

Securing and retaining exceptional talent, coupled with a deep understanding of UBS software, has proven challenging in the current competitive labour market. Consequently, our costs associated with supporting the product have risen over the past 12 months. It is important to note that we have endeavoured to minimise this increase, recognising the cost pressures our customers are also confronting while UBS remains one of the most cost-effective financial, inventory, billing and payroll solutions in the market.

What are the new fees?
You will see a 9% increase for all Access UBS and any other Access products you may be using, inclusive of Sales and Services Tax (SST), starting from the 1st March 2024.

What next?
You do not need to do anything – these changes will happen automatically from the 1st March 2024 and will be applied against your renewal invoice. However, we understand that change can be unsettling, and that’s why we’re providing ample notice for these adjustments.
